It is said that Jesus, after his crucifixion, three days later, he arose from his tomb and gathered in the heavens, in a spiritual body, and went to Heaven to be with his father.
This is the ideal of "Christian Ascension". Now, while it is possible to protect out of one's body, and appear as a spirit or ghost of oneself, either through a dream, OBE, (out of body experience), or through mindfulness. Heaven is not in the skies. Hell is not in the Earth's core. (Nej) I believe whom wrote about Jesus was entertaining their readers. "Look what he can do now!" and is an ego story because they didn't like Jesus.
When they made Jesus a prophet, fashioned Christianity brotherhood, it was probably a stone's through from his actual philosophy, and what he taught if anything.
Therefore, what I know of Ascension and Source energy is simple, It's not Christian based. It promotes freedom from FEAR over the worship of ANY deity. You can't live a good life with the fear of a God in you. People may say "It's respect." No, it's not. Think about your worshipping. Ok then, you respect your children also, but do you fear them? I hope not. You will say "God is different", Yes, GOD is different, there are a million viewpoints. But Jesus is not GOD.
We say God/s Because we think this higher power is over us all, and we must fear and worship him. No. We must celebrate our journey as beings, spiritual beings with a GOD of love and compassion, before everything went to crisis in the Old Testament and you get books detailing the falling of this city, or the death of a prophet or teacher. It starts I believe in Genesis, the failed tree of knowledge story. Jehovah god, who was a jealous being, gave eve and Adam the tree of life, but said no eating of the tree of knowledge. When they ate of it, they knew why Jehovah God created them and while they were naked (they saw through ascension clearly) Jehovah God is a Falsehood. Then he kicked them out of Eden. Then Here comes Satan being blamed for everything ever after. No, Eve used Free will. That is why we have free will. God wishes for all to have wisdom, it says so in many books. Now how can you use wisdom if you are to remain fearful?
